	Medication: cefazoline iv one-off + metronidazol iv 500mg one-off	Remarks: SWAB remarks dunnedarm- en colorectale chirurgie, appendectomie
		Remarks: SWAB remarks andere laparotomieën (schone ingrepen): geen profylaxe

≥ 18 years

Indications: sterk vermoeden op- of bewezen cefazoline-allergie of eerdere ernstige ‘delayed type’ allergie op een ß-lactam antibioticum

Dosering van cefazoline

- bij een operatie duur < 4 uur: eenmalig 2g cefazoline iv. (bij een BMI > 40: eenmalig 3g iv.)

- bij een operatie duur > 4 uur of bij een bloedverlies >1500 ml: na 4 uur cefazoline 2g iv. herhalen (bij een BMI > 40: 3g iv. herhalen)
